Ik heb 2 sounds deluxe borden gebruikt, de reeds aanwezige in
Party Animal en het bord welke ik enige tijd geleden hersteld had.
I have used 2 Sound Deluxe boards, one from a Party Animal and a repaired one.
Beide borden werken prima met de originele address decoder, maar met de
"reconstructed" address decoder heb ik met beide borden hetzelfde
probleem. Ze herstarten telkens.
Both boards work fine with the original address decoder, but with the
"reconstructed" address decoder both boards have the same problem.
They are constantly rebooting.
Soms starten ze correct op en lijken ze ook te werken,
maar ze blijven instabiel en herstarten keer op keer.
Sometimes they boot correctly and appear to be working,
but they stay unstable and reboot again and again.
Ik heb een gevoel dat er misschien een fout is gemaakt met de flank
gevoeligheid van de ingangen maar kan daar ook naast zitten.
I've got a feeling there might be something wroung with the sensitivity of
the input gates, but I could be wroung.
Of men heeft niet het juiste ontwerp gecompileerd.
Or the incorrect design has been compiled.
Ik heb in een ver verleden wel wat gedaan met PLD's maar heb geen analyse uitgevoerd op de sounds deluxe.
I've done some work with PLD's, but I never did an analysis on Sound Deluxe boards.
Ik vind het sowieso al knap wat er hier al met reverse engineering is gedaan en bereikt.
I think it's great what has been achieved with reverse engineering.
