Got my space invaders pinball thanks to Andy and looking at the playfield it's got paint overs and bits raised off the playfield. This is going to annoy me the more I use it so was thinking overlay from arcade classics Inc USA or playfield from classic play fields Canada. Can't find anything closer. So question is, other than price is what to go for, ease of swopping and reputation/quality. Any ideas?

Not cheep but as it is a keeper for me it has to be done correctly by a professional artist ,I personally don't like overlays .

I'm going to be keeping it so happy to keep the "character" of a 40yr old pin on the outside. If it was an antique think it's called "patina" however want it to play as good as possible. Mrs doesn't know how much it cost so any additional expenses under the radar! 🤣

the overlays look too new,if you are not going to restore the whole cabinet in my opinion, plus the creasing issues they can develop over time make them not always cost effective

New one from from classic play fields is about £780, more or less?
Don’t forget postage insurances and import tax which can be a shocker . Cost would be less than your new figure but not massively . Overlays are shocking quality compared to the real thing they’re simply scanned originals but once under glass and installed for a budget they may do but again they’re not cheap and they may still need clear coating . Pm if interested . Carla and Courtney’s turned out beautifully .

Won't be long now before I'll be peeling back for the big reveal!
Comets arrived yesterday. I am adding a couple of spot lights to lighten the PF up.
