Overdiscussing pricing is harming the forum

IMHO, when too many people are focused only on what will be the next game produced, while the golden oldies are ignored, hurts a forum
Oh no, it’s becoming the first circle around here, or is it the third, fourth…
Forum might be improved if there was a single sticky thread where posters could discuss prices in general and also freely comment on prices of individual pins for sale. Then if anyone posts pricing comments on a sale thread (or elsewhere), they could be pointed towards the correct thread, hopefully keeping sale threads clean.
That's what I was trying to do - forwarding someone to the thread I'd started rather than having a discussion on a sales thread.

I was thinking more of a general purpose "discuss absolutely anything to do with pricing here" type thread, so that those interested in the matter could have a place away from the sale threads, and those not interested could easily ignore.
Our younger viewers won’t remember this but back in ye olde days one reason behind the migration away from the old Yahoo UKPinball group to the all new shiny and fun Pinballinfo was a growing frustration with endless price talk discussions and arguments !
