Ordering parts from Spain

So with the joys of my Inder Moon Light restoration comes the joys of trying to find un-obtanium Spanish parts.

I managed to find some jet bumper bodies on one website in Spain however they won't ship to the UK. Luckily a friend has a contact in Spain who was happy to be a middleman and take in the delivery and send it on, but the website requires a Spanish VAT number when putting in an order and won't accept a blank field so I still can't order the parts - What's that all about? Does anyone have any ideas how I could get those jet bumper bodies I so desperately need to me? I've contacted the company but as I thought they totally ignored my email

That's odd, I've ordered a few parts from Spain before and never needed a Spanish vat number. There's a Spanish pinball forum (the name of which I can't remember), might be worth trying on there?

just put in any old spanish vat number. it’s spain. it’s corrupt and we’re outta there soon anyway

Ordered from Spain a few times and have never had an issue - or had to supply anything...
