Weird thing. Just taken delivery of a manual set for AFM and the handbook is titled "Operatory Handbook".

Very Amercan English

Every other handbook I have is "Operator's".

@Dave Bishop you got a set recently too, right? Yours the same?

Anyone, thoughts?

seems to be AFM specific to me. All mine are operators hand books (not AFM though). Set on ebay as operatory

I never take the manuals out the game. have all the manuals as PDFs on local server.
