After owning it for nearly 5 years and being close on three occasions, finally I have reached Vallinor on LOTR, it feels fantastic to have reached the promised land

Well done Nick, thats incredible. Hope to make it there one day to, have come close once. What was your final score? Also, what settings are you on? I have tried a few different settings but have mine on directors cut now, is that what you would recommend? Very nice :cool:

Oddly the final score wasn't my highest @ 460m, it's on medium settings with the outlanes all the way out and no rubbers on the inlane posts. Maximum extra balls was set to four, now turned down to two. Never tried the directors cut, what's the difference?
 
That's a hell of a score, almost double my best. Not sure of the detailed differences. I initially set my game up on hard settings which was tough. I read peoples recommendations on pinside and RGP and the majority said that the directors cut was the way to go as they were how Keith Johnson felt that the game should be played. It certainly made the game a lot easier compared to the hard settings, but i still feel I am a way off of making it to Valinor :eek: Saying that I have only had the game a few months. I'll update this thread in 4 1/2 years when i make it there
