Firefighters are dealing with a large fire at the Megazone on Morecambe's Promenade.
Emergency services have been on the scene at the laser tag centre from around 6.15pm this evening.
Nine fire engines are at the scene using 5 pumps and an aerial platform and a police helicopter has been in assistance.
Around 30 people have been evacuated from nearby buildings.
Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service have confirmed that there are no injuries and that emergency crews will be at the scene for most of the night.
Large crowds have gathered on the promenade and smoke can be seen for miles around in the Morecambe area.
Marine Road West has been closed whilst emergency services are dealing with the fire.
It's not yet known how the fire started.
If its arson I will be royally ticked off, that's my childhood you're ****ing with.
I can only echo Geoffs words, a sad day.Such sad news that a venue ends like that. I hope that they can get started up again as youths need these places and occasionally us adults need to remember how much fun they were.
