Odd detail I noticed on Space Station - trademark stickers / decals

I’m not entirely sure how I ended up in my life thinking about ridiculous stuff like this but here we are ……

Spending time with one of the greatest of the Sys 11 machines tonight - the truly magnificent Space Station ….. the music , the sound effects, the unique slings/inlane setup

I noticed on the sides of the backbox that the Registered Trademark symbol …. R in a circle….. is actually a small decal .

Did Williams mess up with artwork and had to apply these ?

The Williams logo on the translite and on the apron has the symbol printed.

Do all Space Stations have this ? Can other owners check ? I don’t want to lose sleep over this .

Ah, the good old Left (L in a circle) and Right (R in a circle) stickers that we used to find on things in the past (like a set of speakers). I suspect someone peeled one from something then added it to your logo.

Also on F14 Tomcat. I believe its something to do with the logo being Motorola upside down.

On my Swords of Fury there is a TM (trademark) sticker on either side of the cabinet next to the name

Interesting . So some Stations had them, some didn’t (unless removed I suppose) , and F14 had them . This is good stuff .

Does the Williams on the translite have the circled R ? I’m aware there are different translites also with different or no cutouts for some lamps .

Well mine has the R on both sides, perfectly positioned. So unlikely I’d say .
