Next Tables announced for PFX3 dust off ya VPins

BTW those are the enhanced versions in the video which I actually prefer on my VPin but the original versions are just on a hot key should you prefer them

It's confusing for the casual consumer that they are releasing a new version called Pinball FX when the current version is called Pinball FX3.

You also have to buy the tables again if you want to play them on the new version.

I thinks uts a massive p take to ask people to pay again for the same tables. Zen will say that's to help recoup dev costs, but it's still a con.
From the limited footage I've seen, the new engine hardly looks any different from the old one ; little bit of ray tracing and that's it.

I agree, the footage of the pinball fx, doesn’t wow me at all. There really is very little difference from fx3. I’ll be sticking to the tables i own, won’t be paying out again, until they release Bally/ Williams in vr

I think the main change is additional social functions and the crappy subscription service. I'm sure at some point I'll buy Indiana Jones when it's on sale or something (can already play in on VPX, so no rush), but there's no way I'm paying again* for the same tables after already after already buying most of the star wars tables and Universal Monsters pack 2 or 3 times I think (PS, Steam when I used to have a VP cab and Switch when I bought a Flip Grip a while back)
*Unless they release super duper upgrades which really push pc hardware and look amazing, but I doubt it (Visual pinball or Unity will get there first)

Looks same to me, even the same silly environment.

If they're updating the physics on them all I suppose that makes sense. But still a discount if you already owned them would be nice
Also, Am I the only one who finds the speech during the menus annoying? (can probably switch that off I'd imagine - been a while since I've bothered playing PBFX/Zen)

Ive just bought the Indy table on the Williams app, on my iPad. It plays really nice tbh
i use the app a lot, when bored at work, so figured the £13 was worth it

I know Indiana Jones can currently be purchased as a one-off but the convoluted ecosystem on Android reminds me why I stopped playing it in the first place. They'd get a lot more money from me if I could just buy a damn table instead buying nuts & bolts/coins/tickets etc.

I've bought all of the FX3 Williams tables and a lot of the original Zen ones, but this release is outrageous. Not only is it £12 for 1 table (Normally £4 for 4 as they go on sale pretty much every week) but the new version of the game coming out in a couple months will not let you transfer it - not a good release at all.

Do you get the Pro physics etc. when you buy a table outright or is it just a basic 2 star table?

I can't find an option to buy Indy on my Williams app. Have checked my iPad and my phone!

I can't stand the iOS app. I hate the whole concept of freemium and £12 for one machine is really taking the ****.

Edit: I also keep getting connection errors to the game server. Totally useless.
