This weeks find is 2 common driver ics used on all WPC /WPC-95 CPU boards and Opto Driver Boards. The ics are made by quality manufacture Texas Instruments and are exact spec parts for the original boards used in all WPC games.
The first ic is the common switch column driver - ULN2803A. This is socketed on later WPC Games and all WC-95 cpu boards. It often fails when wrong voltages or other things are shorted to a switch.
The second ic is the commonly used switch row comparator ic - LM339N. This is used on all CPU boards for the row side of the switch matrix and on all playfield opto control boards.
The price is £12 inc. vat for 10 of both ics plus £1.20 postage. (20 ics in total)
