This weeks find is driver transistors. These are made by STMicroelectronics. Highly regarded and respected quality manufacture and a manufacturer used originally by Williams and others. These transistors are used as main high current drives for most pinball games from the late 70s onwards. Having some spares of these will stand you in good stead in the years to come. This stock is end of line as far as i can tell and won't be around forever.
The cost is £12 plus £1.20 for 20 (yes 20) TIP102 transistors. This is enough to change a full early 80s Bally driver board out and should keep a WPC game going for a good while!
I am also able to source the complementary TIP107 transistor used in lamp driver circuits. These are £6 for 10. (not used as commonly on boards so a lower number to keep as spares is ok.)
Payment via paypal to jim@mypinballs.co.uk if you want some as before with other parts i have found, or contact me and i can send you an invoice directly. (If paying directly please include your address in the notes.)
Thanks
