Approximately 35 pinball part lots for sale.....The title says it all!.... :0/

I noticed that.
Every auction bumped up by A...O (0) and K...K(1) , Shilled to the hilt.
I ended up overpaying on one auction thanks to the shilling and didn't even bother on another when I realised what was happening.
Noticed a couple of auctions were won by said persons , so expect a relist sometime soon.

Wow! You are not kidding!!

100%!!! An account that has never been used for anything other than shilling!! Ebay should be able to spot this a mile off!

Arrrrrrghhhhh

I was the second highest bidder on a few of these auctions. Infact I bid on a lot of these auctions and was quite shocked that some of my quite high bids were outbid. Something was fishy.

Immediately when the auctions ended I got a bunch of second chance offers from the seller. No shame at all , literally straight away.

Right away I checked who the winning bidder was on all the recent auctions and it is the same 2 bidders on every single one. One has 1 feedback and the other has zero feedback. 94% bidding activity with the seller.

So I came on here to warn all you guys as the scumbag will just move down to the next person in the list and give them a second chance offer. Anyway looks like you guys have it sussed already.

But yes I can confirm this is a shill bidding SCUMBAG

OK can everyone who bid on any of this sellers items please report the item by doing the following (I am doing it now for all of mine)

1) Goto the item
2) Click "Report item" (on right hand side above the sellers description)
3) Chose category "Listing Practices"
4) Chose Reason "Fraudulent listing activities"
5) Chose Detailed Reason "Seller is using other acounts to inflate the item price"
6) Press continue
7) Press send report

I was looking for a roto-lock for my Data East and noticed they had one. I put it on watch but at £1 with £10 P&P it was already getting close to the £15-ish that Andy Legend quoted me for a brand new one.

The shilling kinda explains now how someone has paid (or not) £5+ and then £10 P&P for an old piece they could of got brand new for the same price.

Edit: I just checked and the roto-lock had 9 bids at the end. Seems high for the type of component. Sure enough the first 8 bids are by k**k, an eBayer with 0 feedback. The person who won it looks genuine so he's paid over the odds for the part. I've submitted a report on this one even though I didn't actually bid.

Knew they would be bumped and to be honest expected it, but wished people would put a start price or reserve on that there happy with rather than titting around with people all week....I mite just not pay, see what he does!

Don't pay, you've been scammed! You are paying more than the item would have naturally been determined to be worth by people who want the item setting the "real" value of the item by bidding against each other.

lol, I didn't accept any of the second chance offers, just left them to timeout, and now he has re-listed them.

I wonder if the same bidders are going to win them all over again?

Seems to be similar practices to those employed by Chris Jarvis aka Themightygripper and the guy who bought all the parts from Clints Amusements in the 1st place, also in the same area - so assume it to be the same person or an associate.

The guy had a set of TSPP plastics for sale. I contacted him saying I'd buy them off him straight away, we set a price, did the deal via PayPal. Then 2 days later the guy refunded the money with no communication why. I emailed him to try and find out why - assume he was offered more money from someone else. :(

What's his eBay ID?

I am compiling my own list of dodgy eBay sellers. Would appreciate PMs from people with details if they don't want to go public. Unfortunately it would be difficult to institute a site-wide list due to allegations of bias and 'everyone is allowed a 2nd chance' (which I don't agree with, in business) which could rebound and affect Paul & admins, so this is something we have to set up as individuals and share between us.

Send me your examples people.

Legally as site 'owner' I'm not allowed to post such allegations, since it could be deemed as slander, however as far as I am aware (and I have researched it) there's nothing to stop a member posting it, since it's an opinion... And of course others would be well within their rights to confirm or deny such opinions..... ;)

Same person, well payment went to the same name anyhow

Yep, its Chris Jarvis.

I was the mug who bought the DE backbox lock as mentioned earlier in the discussion, I didnt realise Andy supplied them and needed one a bit urgently so didnt want to go stateside for it, but there you go :(

his names on the back of the jiffy bag it come in, I just dug it out and had a quick look.

I kind of thought I was being shilled, the P+P really is a massive ****-take as well, the stamps got £3.70 on it and i paid a tenner, but again I thought I needed one sharpish and all in i figured it was worth up to a score to me to get it including shipping.

Guys still a tosser though :)

Sorry to hear that Simon.

In my case i'm not in any rush. In fact I need some other bits from Marcos so I might end up grabbing a rotolock at the same time.
