Hi all,

NERG is back for the 4th year running and once again I'm asking you for your support in the way of pinball donations.

There wouldn't be an event if it wasn't for your generosity. Donating your pride and joy as well as your valuable free time! Really, really appreciated be me and all those who attend.

So here I am, cap in hand once again asking you for your support.

It's at a different venue this year, Gateshead Leisure Centre. The hotel is the same also, Ramada Encore.

As with previous years, I'll be paying your entire vehicle rental and fuel costs. This year, I'd also like to donate £20 per machine loaned. Another small gesture of thanks and appreciation. This will at least go towards some of your hotel and beer costs. Not too far on beer for @Poibug though! :rofl:

I'm also dropping an email to previous years donators.

According to the Ramada website they have no rooms available on that weekend at the Ramada Encore Gateshead.

What other decent hotels are in the area?
 
I would imagine Phil has done a block booking like he always has.
Maybe that's why it's showing no rooms.
 
NERG 2016 with even more pinball. :) Will try best to make it happen Phil. What's the target for pins?
 
Sorry for the late reply. Been in Shanghai and Singapore.

The target from the very first NERG has always been 50 pins. Would love to get there eventually!
 
I may be able to donate a SS. My wife is due around that time though so I might have bigger fish to fry closer to the time!

Phil, Tony's not going. Will probably share with Andre providing it's a twin ;) but checking with him and will confirm on text. Ta.
 
IMPORTANT NERG 2016 INFORMATION

Unfortunately, due to a clash of events, NERG has changed venues.

NERG 2016 will now be held at Gateshead Leisure Centre.

NERG clashes with the Gateshead 10k run on Sunday 3rd July which will have up to 5000 athletes finishing the run inside the Stadium. This raises major crowd, safety and parking concerns. This late decision hasn't been easy but we feel it’s the best and only option we have for a comfortable and pleasurable gaming experience.
 
Pah!!!! Us pinball folk are athletes , I would wager more energy is expelled getting to the final ring battle on Lord of the rings than a 10k jog ;)
