Wanted Mylar Sheets

Had a look on eBay but seems they're not suitable for pinball use.

Andy has some but they're not big enough, I need a minimum of 4 inch by 3.
 
Is the self-adhesive clear film we generically refer to as "Mylar" actually real Mylar? Mylar is a trademark of Dupont for PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) film, the stuff used to make those shiny helium-filled party balloons.

I'm just wondering if we can identify the plastic material involved it might be easier to find some?

If it's any help I have quite a lot of clear vinyl that I trimmed off the edge of my Paragon playfield prototype overlay. I stuck two small patches of it onto the playfield in the blank area under the apron to see how well it sticks and what it looked like. Well, it looks great and it sticks really well! If you want some I'll pop you some in the post. I'll grab a better photo tomorrow but it you look closely at this one you can see the "edges" of the small squares in the corner nearest to you:
