The left flipper on my newly acquired game started sticking. The flipper mech has been rebuilt, fairly recently too.
However I knew as soon as I looked at the mech that it would be this black end stop.

This is the third game I have bought that has had these type fitted, which seem to be prone to early failure and cause the flipper to bind to the end stop and stick up. It doesn’t happen with all these stops, but far too many!!!
I replace with these:
