You plan on doing this yourself? I've just got a couple of Zac's working that had various issues. Most were related to the power board, and some transistors on the driver board were blown.
Change fuse holders and fuses (these are notoriously poor!), the one's on the power board and those in the cabinet. On mine I also changed the caps and resistors on the power boards, then powered up with all cables to the MPU and driver boards disconnected and checked all voltages.
Although, looks like it could do with a good clean first !

magic castle is great. I think I have the manual for this. Looking forward to this one. Obviously needs a lot of work but the playfield should be ok under all that dust . One of the few 80s ones we didn’t have as kids.

I just wiped off a bit and still has a brillant colours. Also I find some not nice repairs and missing parts.

Yes, missing the ball release switch and mechanism. Are they in the coin tray that appears in your first photograph with the apron...?
Dont think the lack of a ball release mech is much of an issue. I think they are similar to bally/williams ones used for years.
See the pics below. Where abouts is the top target mech missing you mention?
