Moving TNA CE - possible help needed (London area). Cake and gaming on offer.

Phil @ Pinball Heaven has just told me that our TNA CE is due to arrive in early April, which will probably be around the time I‘m recovering from major abdominal surgery.

As a result, I wondered if anyone London-based/adjacent would be willing to help my husband move/unbox a new TNA CE in exchange for, well, playing with the TNA (provided it works) and the rest of our pins (we also have a GZ Prem, CFTBL, AFM and FT currently set up). We’re based near Maze Hill station in SE London.

Depending on my health, I may also be able to offer homemade cake/biscuits

[I would ask a neighbour again, but moving our AFM turned into a bit of a nightmare as it was raining/nighttime/our ZipVan was overdue for return/we didn’t have a good trolley at the time… so, I daren’t ask ].

No problem at all - I'm sure between us you'll be covered.
I remember when my Halloween turned up recently. I'd booked the afternoon off of work, but had to wait all day for my wife to finish work so she could help me get the back legs on and move it in to place!... an excruciating wait! .. (didn't want to risk damaging the can doing it on my own)

I have a stool that is just the right height to lift a pin onto on my own. Then legs go on. Picking the machine up and using my knees to slide to stool under, can be a tense time. But the desire to play pinball is too large to wait for help.

Always freaks me out when I see Andy Foster, @PUP, breaking down a machine by himself at shows WEARING SANDALS. Not even socks for protection.

Yeah. I love my husband and would feel morally obliged to do something physically risky, if I was post-surgery and he was moving a pin by himself
