Payment methods I'm guessing? Where the hecks paypal?

The hand motor for hologram never did work.
The mirror motor was working sometimes and then started making a clunky noise and then stopped. Guessing they're both seized as i still have power

I can't remember how they looked as been a while since I had mine, might be worth cracking one open if they are geared and see what's happening?

Yes look like sealed units, I have seen motors like these in old electro fruit machines, they work the cam switches I suppose in electro pinballs too maybe you could fabricate something, must be annoying it not working!

You've got nothing to lose by forcing them open/drilling the rivets. If you **** it up who cares they're knackered anyway. If you fix them. Happy days

39v into the motor and nothing. Have the motor out and it turns fine by hand. Must be knackered. Can't really see anyway of getting into the motor to be honest

yeah i think motors are like coils, they always have live voltage, but they only run when the CPU supplies ground/earth. i could be wrong though, frequently am.

Ah i see. Was throwing me off. 2 new motors from Brazil or a very friendly forum user that happens to have a couple lying around ;).
By the looks of it they're the same motor. Can't believe bally only used these in cftbl. Must be other machines with identical motors with different cams

Shouldn't worry too much about the hologram motor. It doesn't really do much anyway. A lot of CFTBL have them disconnected as they can damage the holo by movement. The motor on my holo mirror is knackered aswell.

It seems odd that both motors would go faulty to me, maybe try something else connected to the load 2 15volt lamps in series to see if they glow

Have you tried tracing them back to the board and testing whatever components are responsible for controlling them? Would be one of the first things I'd do

you should have around 42v ac from j114 j115 on the driver board
boht motors are powered by separate boards powered by 20v your flasher circuit j107 on driver board one board in the bottom of the cab the other on the playfield
the driver trigger is from j124 i think on the driver board if this makes any sence

Thinking about it these motors are not hard worked compared to some pins hope you get it sorted
