Just got myself a topper for my Elvis Presley but it requires a 12v supply for the LEDs.

Can’t find a spare supply from the machine itself.

I seem to remember a forum member had created some kind of power split out board for hooking MODs up to but can I for the life of me find the original post.

Anyone know who it was that was producing these things and do they work (I have a Pinsound Board and Colour DMD in mine and both are 12v greedy so I don’t want to tap off the machine if it’s gonna mess up sound and/or display).

Would prefer supply from machine rather than running a separate supply from mains socket (because I can guarantee I’ll forget to unplug it and drag the topper down if I have to move the machine!).

Cheers

Andy

Scrap this request - I just remembered when I was having issues with the PinSound board and Colour DMD fighting over the 12v I installed an ATX PSU.

I am losing it!

For info I make the mod power board thats been available for the last 3 or so years now. 8 outputs 12v and 5v outputs

the original thread is here
