I have a confirmed "will be shipped" date of no later than 27th November 2015. Not gonna make it for xmas but won't be a million miles off and it maybe possible for a few customers to collect pre Xmas.

About time!

Phil

Not sure how many are coming, all 25 LE's and hopefully some spare standards!

Be interesting to see a MMr in the flesh! Obviously i'd prefer an original, but still cool to see them about!

Played a few games on it at NLP and it plays the same as an original to me. The only difference is the feel of the flippers which are like a modern Stern rather than an old Bally/Williams.

Nice one Phil, looking forward to getting it.

I think it will be better than the original, yeah lets open up that can-o-worms...:cuckoo:

Better dots (when the colour upgrade is released).
All brand new parts (the things that matter coils, switches, boards etc)
Newer technology for printing of decals and playfields.
un-compressed sound, better amps.

So when is Monster Bash out?

have to agree, felt a bit more lightweight than the original, but the more of them out there the better, if I didn`t have one already I would have ordered one of these

No, delayed! But we are "next in line, top of the list" so we get the next 25....or 30 hopefully, but 25 will do for now, although I would rather wait and get 30, I know all you LE's guys wouldn't!

Words "**** up in a brewery" spring to mind.

Has any pinball project been as badly communicated and executed as this one? (Admittedly the Hobbit and TBL must run a pretty close second). Do we even know why it's delayed again? I'd guess lack of parts etc. I'd be surprised if it was Stern ****ing this up.

I'm dreading anything going wrong on the machine. Will PPS actually do anything if there are errors?

I still can't believe that Rick still proudly boasts about his experience of running (working at?) a fortune 100 company and experience in PR etc. The main thing I knew when I was running my own company. Don't **** your customers off. They remember! For the money involved they really need to be providing a better communication service to customers.

End of the day I blame myself for being stupid enough to pre-pay. Absolutely no chance I'll ever put myself in the same situation again. Can't even remember how late this one is. 18 months or is it more? Why the **** didn't I just spend the money on several 2nd hand machines play them, enjoy them, sell them, buy others, play them etc.... I'd probably now have had loads of fun and broken even (or made a few pounds) compared to getting a machine I'll lose a couple of grand on.

I don't care if it's a few weeks late but I do care that PPS clearly don't give a **** about their customers. If you take £6 grand+ off people at least have the decency to give them updates. (for clarification I'm not annoyed with Phil / PH. It's the ****ers claiming to be able to make machines who take our money and then don't deliver that are ****ing me off:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:)

On a more positive note. I got to play GOT today. Looks a LOT better in the flesh than in the early pics. Thanks Phil for providing the machine:thumbs:

To be fair (to Phil mainly) we only paid in August, I for one was glad of that as if this project had of gone per schedule I may not have had the money without borrowing, yes the whole project has been a cluster f**k but every bit of info we have received from Pinball Heaven has been spot on and I thank the powers that be the we had Pinball Heaven as our distributor.
Yes it would have been nice for Christmas but at least we have not had any bull s**t along the way from Phil.
It will be here when its here and all the let downs will be quickly forgotten.
I think Phil has done himself proud this year and not just for the MMr customers.

I'm still not sure why they decided to change the board set the way they did. If you're going to redesign such a major part it must cost an absolute fortune to do so.

I originally assumed it was so that they would then have a system that could more easily be adapted for different games and so future releases would be cheaper to make.

However, now it seems that PPS may or may not be working with CG on future titles so a whole new system may then be designed
:confused::confused:

I'm not annoyed with Phil in the slightest, I know some other distros took full payment 18 months ago on the grounds that delivery was going to happen then. Even so if we get a delivery in Jan it's still 6 months after we (and Phil) had to pay the balance for them.

What I feel is unacceptable is that Rick / PPS claimed it was his project at the start then has consistently tried to weasel out of any issues that since arrived. When you presell 1000 machines that's a $7million commitment you've undertaken so keep your customers (and distros) informed about what is going on. If it's not PPS job to do this then surely CG should be doing so. Some of the stories about after sales service are worrying for me. If a slingshot starts hacking into the playfield then it is the manufacturers responsibility to solve this not the customers. Similarly if a machine is damaged in transit is sending a small pot of paint out really the solution? At the prices charged would you accept the same for a car or high end TV?

I'm really hoping that we all end up very happy with our games but buying something really shouldn't be this hard:mad:

I suspect I'm also bent out of shape as I ordered MMr,Hobbit and Predator at roughly the same time, so got bent over three times. Luckily I managed to get my cash back for 2 of these but it really has caused me to reassess why I was so willing to also order MMr.

Oh well it could have been worse, I could have pre-ordered Wrestlemania;)
