Quite like the look of the MM topper from CGC.

Looking at a video of the topper, it looks like the topper runs from a circuit board that also handle the new G.I upgrade..

My question for the guys on here that produce circuit boards, is it possible to create something that will go original G.I connectors, through maybe a Z connector, to a board that would then covert it to the right voltage to run the topper lights.

You need something to drive the LEDs and then something to signal the drive box what to do. I think there are three LED segments that you would need to signal in some way. The Board does GI, speaker lights and the topper.

Sorry they are RGB’s.. topper has 4 connectors..

I don’t mind the topper just lighting up a single colour. But would be interesting to see if this could be done.

I thought CGC were going to make it compatible with Original MM’s too. But guess they decided not to.

Not sure CGC said that but any imagine then doing it - you should be able to wire the leds to a normal led controller fairly easily.

Anything is possible however full game integration would require some work. You would need to replicate what triggers what effect on MMR and then simulate in proper MM. It might not be trivial.

you could do it with an audio to LED controller, and use the audio from the game to do sound to light.
