metal tab snapped off ball guide - fixable?

you can see where i tried superglue - seemed ok but snapped off again when handling ready for reassembly.



any ideas?

Everything is fixable.

Either weld the tab back on , or rivit a "L" bracket on.

holy ****, that would be awesome!



it's from a Rocky & Bullwinkle, it's flat, the cut out portion has no purpose except allowing light through from a nearby bulb, and it's 78mm x 27mm
