Hey group. I Really want a Taxi. Just to be able to play it, so not fussed about condition. So I'm thinking about that wreck on eBay! So does anyone have any spares? In particular a speaker surround panel. It looks a bit fooked!

Cheers

Gaz

Ha ha. Yeah. As long as I can get it to play. That's the main thing. I can live with the wear! And it'd have to be st the right price:-)

With Phil being the gent that he is I am sure he will help you with parts etc

P.s Purchase the foaming cleaner off Phil.

Works a dream. Great for alloys wheels too.

Beeen looking at this beauty today while up at Phils, Its rough and thats being nice. Having said that if you can look past all the playfield wear it is only going to be a players machine and once done up and fixed, thats what it will be and only can be , a players machine. So if picked up cheap it will still give the owner the satisfaction of fixing and getting it back working and then having a blast on it.

Good luck to who ever buys it. And good on you for bringing a machine back to life.

No mate. I wasn't prepared to go more than £150 It becomes uneconomical after a while. Oh well. I've managed to strike up a deal with Rob off group for a non permanent trade. That way I can play taxi for a few months, he can play sttng and when we start to tire we can swap back again. Happy days:-)

Sounds like a plan Gaz. Nice one.

I think your budget was sensible. I would have aimed for the same. £300 seemed a bit much considering.
