Hi

I have a BK2K. a full set of plastics that are in good order. Enough bits to make another BK2k, but not enough good plastics for two machines.

It seems you cannot buy a full set of plastics any more :-(

I scanned a plastic yesterday to see how it would look, i expected it to be slightly blurred as it the image is a few mm away from the scanner glass. It came out good though.

Any way.

What is the type of plastic used for these plastiocs? In other words, once i have scanned them, what do i ask for and from whom?

Anyone know of any companies that reproduce plastics - just looking for two sets, not looking to resell or owt, as it will be dubious regarding copyright. Just because i have no alternative!

Anyone any experience of this?

Cheers

JB

Not sure what type of plastic originals are made from but plastic protectors are made from PETG. Couldn't you make your plastics out of this and then you they should be pretty resilient to ball strikes and not need protectors?
