Unfortunately I have just had a message from @Install3balls Tony 'Magic' Mellows' wife to say that he has died. Some of the old school guys on here will remember him from back in the day, he was a big character.

He was very unwell this last year, but his love for pinball stayed strong until the end.

I certainly do remember him on the scene in the mid / late 2000s. At all the UK Shows. And yeah a real character . Capcom Pinball Magic was HIS game and didn’t he let us know about it

He popped up back on here I’m sure in the last year ??? Somewhat bemused at the very different scene

known as Install3Balls on here and I never knew him in person but felt his posts were often misinterpreted on here due to his writing style.

He always seemed an old school and heart on sleeve character to me.

How very sad. I vividly remember those conversations on the yahoo group where he would eulogise about the virtues of Pinball Magic.
I recall there were three of us that had one at the time and he gave us all honary names - I think I was 'Hepworth Hansen' after the designer of the game.
In the end he persuaded me to sell mine to him ; must have been 15 years ago. I since got another.

He was a bit special ; he had a game that he absolutley worshipped and would not hear a bad word said against it by anyone, but at the end of the day he was a nice guy.

I will miss him

Sad news. We had some good laughs back in the day.
