I understand that Lyman would feel aggrieved with the comment that his games come out with bare code and then mature later, but I'm pretty certain that Chuck didn't mean it as a criticism. Rather that Stern releases all games with basic code (in the USB update era) and Lyman does actually take the time and effort to work on them and turn them into a masterpiece, unlike certain others.
For Lyman to go back to AFM, MM and MB to defend this seems to be missing the point somewhat.
