Yes, use the pinball browser software and pre-set the high scores in the bin file before you apply it

Presumably you can just manually enter the default high score then as your old best score?
You'd lose the initials but still be able to see the target

Can you really compare scores with different software? Sometimes new modes and scoring comes in.

Does anyone know what that very loud screech noise is, a bit like a short, sharp tyre skid noise on Walking Dead? Happened on previous code too. It happens on mine maybe every 5th game and can be at anytime, even after the game has just finished. Scares the hell out of me as it seems to override the volume settings.

That's sterns crappy version of a knocker and its normal

Weird. Think I've seen a knocker setting in the menu's so might try to disable it.

Knocker volume is adjustment #44 on the Standard Adjustments menu,

at least it is on the Pro model.

Nah. The screech noise isn't the knocker. That's the standard click noise. It's the tilt noise. Think it's meant to be a siren but just sounds like a high pitched squeak. Not too sure of the relevance to the TV or comic

Well whatever it is I'm turning it off. Thought it was a physical noise at first, like something needed oiling. Quite worrying for a new pinball owner. I then realised it was software related but thought it was a bug. Would have never in a million years thought it was intentional.

It is the knocker, same noise as in this video.

Me too, the achievement of reaching the replay level deserves a big noise, even if it makes you jump out of your skin.
