As Alan said go play one , bare in mind when you come to resel it could be a tough game to get shut off …if I was buying a pro imho I’d be buying Godzilla now that’s a lot of fun and would resell very easy … just do your research go play

Definitely play one before you buy. If my profile photo didn't give it away, I love LZ. But the pin... it's just fine. I've defended the game before but I wouldn't buy it NIB, especially considering the amount of money a NIB costs.

Yes it does seem stripped back compared to other games but its great fun especially if you like the music obviously.

It MAY be harder to sell on in future but there are not many out there and a Zep fans can have deep pockets!

we have one here and there are a few Pros in the wild

The playfield is incredibly empty …. like where the hell is everything empty!? And there are no toys of any note on the Pro. Doesn’t even halt the ball for lock - just trundles on past the ‘do nothing’ airship.

That said …I dig Zep tunes as much as the next long hair and I enjoyed playing a few games on it down the pier , and I’m sure would have beer fun on it at home . 😁

Would I spend the best part of 8k on one ??

The pro is very stripped back compared to the premium, if you are a huge fan of LZ it would probably be better to try and go for that version.
Saying that for the money I would still be going for any other current Stern Pro over LZ pro including Rush.

Not an absolute turd of a game but there are far better tables out there.

As mentioned above it’s a very open playfield and the ramps etc are very easy shots. It’s pretty hard not to get a multiball.

I can see me having a second hand one some time down the line but if it’s your only table I’d imagine it would get stale quickly.

The rising spinner toy also seems prone to issues.

I would get the premium if you can afford it. The toy and upper ramp are sorely missing on the pro.

Thought it was a fun game when I played it, lots of ramps and the popup spinner is a very satisfying shot.

Oops didn’t realise the pop up spinner wasn’t in the pro. It’s even more knee capped than I realised.

Theme definitely saves it, if your a fan of the band, it’s a fun game
I’d own a pro in a heartbeat, but don’t see the value, same as other second hand pros, made in recent years
Due to lack of toys, and playfield real estate

I am a big Rush fan.
You are in Brum so go to tilt and try a Rush Pro
Go to Nuneaton and try a Zep pro
I think Rush is better than Zeppelin.
If I had the money for a NIB pro I would prob buy Mando (Mando LE in Tilt too).
PS - Hello from Brum - where about are you?

PPS - I currently have Rush pro at my place.

I like pro machines as a rule, I've had AIQ, Deadpool, Jurassic Park and Star Wars all in pro but didn't feel that I was missing large chunks of the game. They provide good value at 2 grand less and I've always been happy to lose a mech and a few toys without it impacting my enjoyment.

The electric magic rising spinner is the centerpiece of the game on Led Zep. For me it IS the game and certainly the part that I always aim to get to.

For £7800 there are so many better options than a Led Zep pro.

I own two led zeppelin‘s LE and Premium and it’s a challenging but flowy game thats a lot of fun. Most folks don’t know how to play it And yack on about how it’s stripped down. When it’s all about hitting the right shots of the music and combo-ing to build icarus x up. The pro is poor value for money.

It is stripped down though and aren’t all games about hitting the right shots ?😁

When I first played the Pro at Electric Circus I was quite vocal about how ugly it was, and being a waste of spare parts.

However, now I understand the rules a bit more I love playing it! It doesn't have a bash toy or some super complicated toys on it, but it is really fun to play.

Price is just as much an issue for this as any other machine

In my opinion its a massively underrated game, I have had my LE for a year and it will be the last to leave my collection.
