I like knockers.
Have an idea for a mode that was suggested to me where I have multiple Gremlins inside the cab causing chaos. The knockers going off all over the place throughout the mode to make it feel like I have them inside the cabinet.
I'm back on this homebrew project now and want a working white wood for pinfest so need to get moving.

Amazing thank you. Your parts storage has been a massive help in this project.
An old chime unit without the chimes is 3 knockers. Or replace the metal chimes with wooden ones of different sizes to get 3 different knock sounds ?

That could work, I want a bit of depth and desperation so it feels like it is coming from different parts of the cabinet, but happy to try different options.

Here is what I have.
4 on front row are knockers with 23-800 coils and thicker plungers.
Back row are kickbacks which are same but have skinnier plunger. 2 on left have 23-700 coils. 3 on righthand 23-800.
If you want all same plungers I can swap out as I have other spares of both types.
I have the metal plates that go on the cabinet somewhere and will include those too.
Let me know what you want if you decide to go this route.

Maybe a mix would give you best of both worlds? Chime unit in middle of cabinet floor. 3x knockers one in backbox one at back of cabinet and one at front.
