Kiss ColorDMD

I went LED, looks good but if you go the recommended route and take 12v from the ticket connector on the cabinet node board, it cuts power to the display with the door open

So, what you’re saying is… you’re questioning the power?

I'll be going LCD like all my others, just waiting for the spike power lead to arrive from Color DMD, then I can get it installed.

Would I be right in thinking, should I go the LED route, that it’s a straight swap and I wouldn’t need any other bits and pieces like gaskets etc..? The display cutting out when coin door is open also sounds annoying.

LED is like for like swap, LCD requires a bit more work.

why not grab the power from the power distro board? Same place as ghostbusters?

I’m just wondering why the ticket connector is the recommended route. Seems odd, if losing display when door is open is a side-effect.

Kiss and WWE need to be powered from the coin door interface node board ticket header. No space in the back box, only Ghostbusters and Game of Thrones can be powered from CN 6 on the power distribution board.
