Everyone’s heard the rumours Kong is Elwins next release from Stern!

Apparently next from Stern on Spike 3 with an increase in price of $600

The King of Monsters is back and his name is Keith Elwin!

Rumour from Kman amongst others but feels like it’s next … D&D by Eddy apparently not ready yet but also on Spike 3

Can't complain about the amount of choice nowadays, but it just feels like there's too many releases each year to be sustainable, releasing them with bare bones code doesn't help, and a price increase certainly won't help either.

Across the manufacturers there's been 13 releases/rereleases in the last 12 months, with another not that far off.

There might be lots of releases but they aren’t many being pumped into the market place.

Apart from Stern who can mass produce and maybe JJP with there one or two a year the rest take a while.

And the hobby is bigger then ever with more people to support this pinball economy.

Only looks crap cause we’re in the uk… go to America and there’s multiple new releases in every town. For everyone 1 on site in the UK there is only like 200 over there

Which then feeds the secondhand market

Classic I hope. hard to imagine a Peter Jackson or modern Kong. Old Post from stern.

Theme has great potential but I’m not sure how many more price increases the market will bear, especially given that the increase won’t just apply to this one title, but all releases going forwards. Doesn’t help that Stern have made it clear that they will keep releasing variants of existing titles either.

Yeah. Can't help feeling that the world-wide price-gouging grift that was en-vogue in 2022/2023 has passed, and that these guys perhaps haven't caught up to the fact that prices on luxury items are moving in the opposite direction now...
