I had three very old EM keys, originating from the US. They had nothing like them in the shop, but I left the keys with him as he said he would call their online support. He had a face time or teams call with someone in the know back at HQ and they identified the keys and the parts he needed to order. within a week or so he had the blanks and later that day i had a set of new keys. Only one set didn't quite work, but i tweaked them with a file and they were fine.

The point is if you walk in and they say "sorry mate cant help..." push back and get them to check with HQ or find another branch. This was the 2nd Timpson I tried, purely by chance after the previous one just sucked his teeth and said sorry mate can't help ya...

They seem like a really decent company to work for too, them and Greggs, exceptional employee benefits.

Timpsons did same for me last week - needed some extra front door keys and apparently my yale mortice lock which is only 11 years old, has now got obsolete keys, so the guy phoned his support team and they figured out which blank would work, but with a slight adjustment - he needed to file down the barrel length, which he did - both worked perfectly. I was well impressed.

I did a LW3 for them years ago that was in their relaxation area next to the gym/pool area at HQ in Wythenshawe
They employ a lot of ex prisoners and the two brothers that own it are sound as pound
Something in the back of my head says they have a pub Abersoch way. The staff all seemed really happy at work and very obliging,
