I'm no Jenius, but why hasn't Stern put Mr Keith Elwin and his recently lauded design skills together with Mr Lyman Sheets and his exalted coding skills?

Just seems like a match made in heaven.

The thing both Keith and Lyman bring to the table when writing rules (different than writing code - obviously) is that they are both top players in their own right so understand what players are looking for in a game, the others less so and are writing what they 'think' players want.

By teaming Lyman up with other designers you get 2 points of view coming together - putting Lyman and Elwin together would probably only slightly improve (if at all) Elwin's games, but to the detriment of the other designers games.

Or it could be like when your favourite singer joins your favourite band - and then its not quite as good sounding.....
(When Sammy Hagar replaced David Lee Roth in Van Halen :) )

They both may have clashing egos?

Keith may like his team around him, and think the code is already fantastic.

Lyman may like to work with all the 'old school boys'.

^^ Wow. Looks like me working on a PCB! ^^

(SMOSH, smosh, smosh) "Whadaya mean that didn't fix it? C'mon....."
Gets sledgehammer or hotter soldering iron.

You mean Stern is wasting Lyman’s talent to code games with poor Playfield design?
imho, B66 and Elvira have playfield design not very creative.
i would also like a Elwin-Lyman game...or another Borg-Lyman game

I keep reading this thread title as "Keith Lemon", now wouldn't that be a machine to behold :D
