Tuesdays Price - £4000
Todays Price......big drop.........now......£3700!!!!

Update - now sold pending pickup in a few months.

Hi,

So i’ve decided to do something a little unusual and do a falling price sale on my Junkyard.

Pics are in next reply box below.

Prices seem all over the place for all pins and i’ve been given a few valuations and the top one was from someone who said if a rough judge dredd is selling at 3.5k then junkyard is a far better game so must be higher. I don’t like JD at all so by that logic this is worth a million quid (apologies to those of you who like JD, just never gelled with me).

So I’ll begin this for sale post at 4k and then drop it by £50 everyday. So if you want a junkyard, it’s gonna be a little game of hold your nerve and hope no one buys it before it drops to where you’re comfortable.

In fairness to all, I’m gonna let this run so please don’t make any offers. Just hold out until it reaches the price you’re happy with and if you’re first to message on that day then its yours.

I’ll login at various times each night and drop the price by £50 (maybe even £100 and quite possibly even more!!!). Hopefully this is a bit of fun for those of you wanting a Junkyard and it’s probably a good way of seeing what its worth.

Pickup in person is great (south west Scotland) and failing that Martin is here regularly and is picking up another pin shortly, so depending when this eventually sells, Martin might be your quickest option.

Hopefully this way of selling is a bit more entertaining than me just sticking up a price.

Jason.

Good and bad bits.....

It has a colour DMD
The cabinet is mostly in good shape and artwork is decent. Theres a little damage at the sides of the backbox (just the usual stuff at the bottom edges).
Playfield is in nice condition.
The machine plays great and is genuinely a fantastic game.
I have a video of it that I can forward to anyone interested.

Cup holder shown in pictures will be removed as I want it on another machine - unless thats a deal breaker then you can probably talk me into including it :D

Hopefully these pictures are good enough quality but if anyone wants close ups of anything in particular then just PM me and i'll take as many pics as you like.

I once did this when selling my AC/DC Premium, think I did £50/day also. Was interesting.
Are you going to say the price drops at a certain time each day or only when you change it each evening which could be any time?

It will be when I remember to login and drop the price so will be different times everyday. Probably more fun for everyone holding on for the lower price that way. I will try and put pics up early tomorrow though and write a proper description for it.

lets hope its still for sale in 3 weeks
Lets hope not :p But in the spirit of seeing where it goes on this weird dropping sales thread, if no one buys it before that then I will still have it listed exclusively here in 3 weeks+ and will let it go for whatever the price is then. I'll probably drop by £100 a day (or maybe more) on a few random days just for the hell of it. I've lost money on a few of my last sales ( *cough* Munsters) so i'm willing to let this crazy dropping price go for as long as it has to, even if i lose a little in the end. So long as it stays in the community and doesn't end up for sale at 6k on ebay in a month or so then i'll be happy to accept whatever it goes for....even if that's considerably less than I paid for it. Although if its still for sale in 8 or so weeks and is down to under 1k I might change my mind

You have to admire the OP's marketing chops, much more interesting than it being sold within minutes. Gives everyone a chance to buy it including those new to the hobby.

I think it's outstanding.

A Demo Man for £3K, A Roller thingy for less than £2k, an abundance of trade offers and now a decreasing auction on a really fun game. 👌
