Has anyone got a Joust double header pinball? I've just got one and wondered if anyone knows about what to look out for, where to get spares etc? Or any general info would be good.

Colin

I had one years ago, cool but not much to do and takes up loads of room as you need a person at each end, can be played 1 player. If I remember correctly I sold it to a guy in Southampton1 Joust.JPG who had me deliver it to his office (he owned the company) where he had abut 6 pins in the break out area.

thanks everyone never had a system 7 what are the problems with this generation

Dry capacitors, flaky connectors, broken inter-board sockets, bad chip sockets on CPU, duff displays, battery leakage.

You did ask !!

And that dodgy big unfused power cap fire hazard (or was that rectified by system 7?)

No, the lack of fuse protection for two of the transformer secondaries/bridge rectifiers was still there on System 11 and Data East machines (though the capacitor was physically smaller).
