Expired Johnny Mnemonic

Expired Due to no activity
Considered letting mine go, but with the data glove being rebuilt (plus spare parts for future) and the color DMD, probably be touch more than mufcs. Still, PM me if interested in the future.

Here's one..

And the OP has already commented saying it's out of his budget.

Johnny Mnemonic seems to be a rarity these days, had a check on some European forums and its the same picture the last two to sell went for 4.2k and 4.5K (euros)

JM and Congo are my fav DMD games and I'd never sell them

Good luck in your search

I'd go along with that. It's a weird opinion too because neither are very luxurious machines; they're both based on poorly received movies, neither are the beautiful to look at, to anyone familiar with pinball they just look like average pins in a lineup and until quite recently they didn't cost very much money. Despite that JM can't be topped for pace and flow (onnly broken up by arguably one of the coolest toys) and Congo has arguably one of the best layouts of any 90s machine.

I might be biased though owing to my signature, but I've largely stopped collecting/buying pins are have just landed at keeping a few to play. Including LOTR (setup PAPA style, don't care for it vanilla anymore) I don't really want for much else.

Nicks price is pretty much spot on. I sold my JM for exactly this amount. If it's out of the OPs budget then he needs to consider a different machine. Bit like saying I'm looking for a Godzilla (Stern) but I've only got a budget of £4k - it's not going to happen!

Yeah the price isn't off. Bagged mine in similar condition a little less but did a favor and had to rebuild the hand.

2.8 is a fair price considering but be cautious if the X/Y bolts on the hand were ever routed. You can see these from a visual inspection so something to watch out for. Check for any daylight in them and check for wiggle room on both axis since playing the game minus the hand is a really underwhelming experience. Not just because the toy is missing, but the flow of the game collapses since it adds a lot of hard walls to compensate. You're looking at £40 (mostly in shipping) from the US for 2 nuts (keep a spare set), a good handful of hours take the assembly apart, many microfiber cloths and dicing with some very poor quality bolts during disassembly on the backplate. 3 of them snapped clean off under no pressure and needed drilling out.

That being said I think the machine is undervalued. The UK is a weird market and doesn't like what it doesn't like, but the gameplay is equal to/exceeds WCS which is 3k+ all day.

Hi Greg, It's a hard to work out prices at the moment.. I recently purchased a T2 for £2250 and just after pinfest the sttng for £3300 and they are both more popular? Can't even go by prices abroad as some games abroad are alot cheaper than they are here and the opposite for example spectrum abroad can sell a few k and mine struggled at £1500.
I'm not saying it's out of my budget meaning grands I'm talking few hundred.

@thejefu thanks for the info I've heard they can be a pain to do
Did you get this one? :

Yep that's the one. Looks identical but I put 4 spotlight mods down at the slings because that playfield gets dark down there and I tend to play with the lights low. Has a PIN2DMD color screen in it too.
