Its been a LONG time coming but ive finally took the plunge and bought my first pin!!!!

Its currently at my mates lock up while I sort out some room though.

I picked it up off evilbay and had to do a 200 mile round trip to Wales to pick her up, but she's well worth it!

The cabs good an solid and the play field looks like its never had a ball run over it!

Mechanically there are some issues unfortunatly but for the price I paid that was expected.

When I get her home I'll start and troubleshoot the issues but for now I'll just throw up a few pics :D

I have a few arcade cabs aswell, me n the wife are looking to move soon and we've both agreed it has to be 'arcade friendly'!!!!
I do have my heart set on a Gottlieb Wedgehead EM.......

Let me get this one working first ;)
It may drive me mental an I cant fix it....that'd put me right off lol!

7 digit display with comma's nice. Must get me one of these EMs.

Nice, looks in very good order. I have a Ski Jump project in the garage, along with a Captain Fantastic and another Zac Queens Castle. That's the trouble with moving house, pinball projects take a back seet. I have a box of bits form the QC back box that i was in the middle of tumbling a year ago (wonder if i'll be able to put it back together again...) with loose wires and solenoids hanging out the back. If a pinball could have a prolapse i think it would like my QC.

:-)

Don't forget to download a schematic from IPDB. Don't skimp, take the file to a printer and get hem to print out full size. Or else print of on about 9 A4 sheets and stick together with tape (if usin scissors make sure an adult is with you...). My Zac Circus schematic was very handy in getting it going. It had a few bits missing too and some damage so wouldn't have worked even after a strip, gap and clean up any way.

I love EMs, just wish i had more time. Oh well there is always next year.

Text from the auction

"Zaccaria Ski Jump Pinball Machine. Sold as spares or repair only. I bought this just over a year ago as a project to see if I could get it working or not. One of the issues was a short on a score solenoid which I removed but I have never replaced. The faulty part comes with the machine. I have managed some progress with it and can get the score to turnover and the flippers to work. Additionally many of the in table bumpers and targets now also work but not all of them. I can also reset it manually by carefully actuating a few of the relays inside. However I know feel I have taken it as far as I can go and it needs someone to finish this project. Some of the wiring will need renewing as it has suffered from overheating and is charred in places.

There is a wiring diagram (ladder logic) with this machine and keys to access the coin box area.

Please as any questions I will do my best to answer them. Please note this item is sold as NOT working for spares only.

Item is local pickup however I may deliver within a 30 mile radius for £1 per mile each way but all monies would need to be paid prior to delivery. Can assist with loading if you bring your own vehicle. It will fit in the back of a large estate car (e.g. Ford Mondeo)"
