Just got a nice package from Pinbits:

Anyone know what this awesome piece of kit is? An imaginary flux capacitor for anyone that gets it right ;)

Ramp light kit for a Tron by any chance. Can I have the 1.2gw flux capacitor if I'm right?

One imaginary flux capacitor beaming its way to you via telepathy my good man. Got it in one:

Managed to get the kit installed last night. Damn thing took me 4 hours to install!!! Anyway heres some pics:

This next pic shows the underside of my playfield. Thanks to the useless instructions on the pinbits site, the LED modules are the wrong way around (no big deal swapping them over) If you plan on getting this kit yourself, install the modules the OPPOSITE to what this pic shows to save yourself another half hour of fiddling:20131011_010227.jpg

The kit doesn't come with heatshrink, but I had some lying around so I thought it best to use it to stop any possible light bleed to the inserts. The whole kit is fairly straight forward to complete, but the ramp drilling was a real pain and takes most of the time of the whole install. Some ramps have a thicker flange than others (mine) so you have to drill two holes close together in order to get the 'factory' look.

Had some games this morning, and its amazing how they have got it to work seamlessly with the modes. The best mod out there right now imo.

Were you on Eli's pinside list or just lucky with getting one from pinbits?

I was an early supporter. Eli sent me a private link to purchase the kit through pinbits. He is doing this for everyone that said they wanted a kit, but there are a lot of people wanting it. Once those orders are complete he plans on making more units available directly through the pinbits site.
