As some are aware im stripping and working on a black knight 2000. All the mylar and glue is off and has caused virtually no damage.
The insert though are as rough looking as the bears wotsits. It looks like some clearcoat type stuff has reacted with the mylar and caused the bubbling.
Im left with the majority of insert decals in good condition but the inserts themselves are like the surface of the moon with pits and craters and dont look pretty.
i dont want to remove the inserts as that may be beyond my evpertise at the mo. I am contemplating trying to smooth off the insert with maybe a dremel to get them smooth then add new decals.
what do peeps think?
does it sound like a plan or stoopid idea?
The inserts look dull at the mo and pretty ugly. I should of taken a pic to show you all.
