Wanted HS2 getaway new ROM?

Hi all,

so I have just got my HS2 fixed up and playing ( after lots of cleaning, fixing a few broken transistors etc.) anyway I was having a look at the ROM it is using and it is listed as P-C, I guess this was originally shipped in the machine as it all seems to be the original boards etc as they all still have the correct serial number for the game on them!! so after a bit of digging and finding out that this is a prototype ROM I would like to try and get a L-2 ROM for it. Where is the best place to get one? or does anyone have one they want to sell? also would I need to change the audio ROM?

I can program you new roms. Price for a getaway game and sound set rom would be £15.98 plus £1.20 postage. I use nos rom chips where possible I think you only need a sound rom update if you want L5. L2 is just the game rom. (from memory)

Yours must be an early one, then. The first (of five) that my employer bought had edition P-C. The nuisance with that one is the 'now you see it, now you don't' credit dot/fault indicator, which (if you can catch it) is for "Diverter Error". Apparently, even earlier versions had every shot up the left ramp sent around the Supercharger. This had been taken out, but the reporting part was still expecting the diverter to operate whenever a ball went through the ramp entry switch.
