Hello all, I was in Super Bario in Glasgow today planning on playing some arcade games and ended up getting hooked on the pinball tables, I've messed around with them a couple of times in the past but never spent much time with them but had an absolute blast today and met a lovely guy , John, who may or may not be on this forum...?

He mentioned to me that there's a Scottish meet at Super Bario on the 23rd of June but I can't see that listed on the events page anywhere; so I partially wanted to ask if anyone has any more details about it, but also just wanted to say hello and that I have officially been converted to Pinball as of today and am already looking around at advice on how to actually play properly

Hi,

Welcome to the forum. The pin meet at Bario is provisionally going to be on the 23rd. There was due to be a meet today but that is being re-scheduled and the 23rd is the proposed date. Entry is just £2. All the pins will be set to free play.

Games available to play on the day will be:

Shadow
Demo Man
Baywatch
Royal Rumble
Turtles (Stern)
Star Wars (Stern)
Alien

Typically most folk will aim to get there around 12 and there will be a little introduction before the league games start to give you some info. If you arrive early then you can get some practice in.

We're far down south, but I can't praise the Scottish crew enough. Definitely get to their league meets you'll have a great time!

Plus UK Pinfest is in august! You'll regret it if you miss that
