Yeah, that's where I got 74cm from. And yet I'd like confirmation from someone with a tape measure, I'm unsure as to whether the 74cm includes the backbox or what.

If the fellow turns up with the machine in the back of a van and it won't fit through the front door I'm going to look rather silly.

You might get away with 73.5cm. Williams Bally backboxes are all about the same width. If you're thinking about if it will fit through a doorway and its tight, you can maybe have the backbox raised, undo the backbox hinge brackets and spin the backbox while resting on the cabinet without disconnecting any wiring. This needs to be done with care!
