How should I store a populated playfield?

Just wondering what the best way to store a fully populated playfield is.

At the moment it is standing on end, leaning against a wall. But I was wondering if this is likely to make it warp. Would it be better to store it held in a playfield rotisserie? Or would that make it bow? Or perhaps stored flat on a blanket on a spare mattress?

Any thoughts? I don't want to come back to it in three months and find it ruined....

Vertical can't be any worse then how it lays in a machine only supported like 20% from the back and right at the front.

Three months....I think it will survive ;) How many games tombstoned for years suffer warped playfields ?

To be safe just store playfields with playfield rails attached, stops them twisting and warping. I’ve had a couple NOS playfields stored stood up for years with rails attached and they are still flat as a pancake!
