How many Star Trek owners in uk?

Just wondering who's purchased the new stern then? Any regrets?

None whatsoever. Enjoying it more than expected and have no regrets selling MB to fund it. ST is a fast game with loads on it that will be challenging for some time. I mean.... 18 missions, two multi-balls, Vengeance feature, wizard modes, great theme, dots, lighting, sound etc.... Yes, new game novelty is all there, but struggling to find fault at moment other than some omissions over the LE (but always going to get that when saving yourself £2K+)

My niggles on the Pro build are:

Two little screws to hold the backbox up rather than the usual locking mechanism.
Plasticky apron.
Missing kick-back.

There's also a few niggles still in the code that need ironing out but getting Ver 1.3 so quickly compared to other Sterns can only be a bonus.

Which version you got coming?

I was completely unexcited about its arrival, so much so that it arrived and sat in the box for 36 hours. Big mistake leaving it so long, it makes ACDC look old and whilst it might not be an awesome game, aspects of it are awesome - the code is good, the lighting is quite simply phenomenal. The flow is magical and the warp ramp is a HUGE BUZZ (7 in a row is my best so far) when you get it right.

I'm enjoying it and with a few tweaks to the code it will be a very solid game and has potential to be somewhere near the top. The only real issue I have with it, is the price

Price is a real downer.

But the LE is one of the best games I have ever played. Shame no LCD as the dots are average but this has potential to be top 5 in the next 18 months - we shall see.

How on earth did you manage not to open a new toy for 36 hours?

It did seem to get some negative comments before it was launched but now it is here, I can't say how much I love it. It's one of those machines you have to see it in action to appreciate it. Finding some of the shots tricky - especially the warp ramp - but it flows so well and fast. Light show and sound is amazing. What gets me is the sense of immersion in the game - if you have watched the movies you can really get a sense of the battle and what you are doing. Think Stern knocked it out of the park with this one.

Don't own but played quite a few times in HMV. Lighting is great and it plays fast. It seems to be missing something on the code front so far, but the Karl Urban speech and others code updates should put that right.

If you were only getting single missions (i.e. 6 in total) then it hasn't had the Ver 1.3 code installed.

Not sure how the custom speech update will work...

P.s. you need to change your Avatar Thory, I mean Megatron, I mean Thory.... ;)

I had the Avatar first :-) It must have been code below 1.3 as it was single missions.

For custom speech I'm looking for Arnie T3 style "Shoot here and here" :-)

Yes and MOP code coming "soon",must be true cos I've been waiting 4 months for it!!

ST LE however has just come out and has great code for out the box.Just needs tweaking - lighting awesome and great player, just shisher pf artwork, like AC/DC

You're only comparing to your fancy Metallica artwork. ;) That one is exceptional.
