Hook update code

Hi...

Has anyone out there tried the 5.01 update code for Hook that Chad in the USA released a year or two ago? If so, is it worth trying?

Not personally tried the new Hook code ....but all Chad rewrites are worth it ! Tommy, Star Wars, Jurassic, Baywatch .... have all seriously benefited from a code polish. Give it a go - nothing to lose.

@Jim leHook If you're not on Chad 5 at all yet, then get it done fella pdq the difference is night and day. I'm on the original 5.0 and will update to 5.01 in due course but no rush as my machine doesn't suffer the pirate town target/instant info display bug that prompted this release - saying that 23 improvements for us to enjoy

Guess I need to give this a try. I've had Hook for ten years now, maybe this will give it a bit of a boost play-wise.

I watched the stream last night and @strobey seemed suitably impressed by the code changes
