Might be thinking about picking up a machine in the next year depending on how things go with my own business.

Cheers Ian

Welcome to the forum! Are you going to the slam?

Ooh, didn't know it was on the iPhone :-), I got it on the PS3 about a year ago and still loved it.

Unfortunately I'm at the other end if the country and on holiday that week, looks good though and a nice prize too.

Cheers for the welcome guys.

Table wise I have none at present but cut a deal with the wife so might get one next year .

One is only the start of many.

No its not Yoda talking is what happens when you buy your first pinball.

I know this feeling from collecting arcade machine lol, I have a space lined up in my garage for one, just need to get saving them pennies :-).

Hey Ian, shame you can't make the Slam but there are other events throughout the year worth making a note of, it's a great way to play different games especially if you're thinking of buying. You might also want to come along to a league meet, whichever is closest to where you live, we're half way through the season but you're still welcome to come along. Some dates (weekends of) and links for you:

30th June - Swavesey - https://sites.google.com/site/swaveseypinball/

12th August - Welsh Classic - http://www.rawdistribution.co.uk/silverballs/welshclassic/

19th August - UK Pinball Party

I bought my first machine in November 2010. Ended up with a 2nd a few months ago, as a christmas present to myself. It's true, they breed!

Welcome:)

Btw, they do breed. I spoke to Kate last year and she assured me one pinball was enough;)

What is the gestation time for a pinball machine - you know - from when you get your first to the second? 9 Months??

i only ever have one at a time but change them regularly.

there is however a space in my house with a plan for the future....i just have to let the missus tell me when it's a good idea to fill it.

thats the idea in my head anyhow and i'm sure she'll realise one day
