Have you ever owned a Blackwater 100?

Once upon a time there was a poor unloved orphan machine. A Blackwater 100, I shall call her Daisy. Now as Daisy is in the care of a loving home where she will be nurtured and looked after and loved, I thought I would try and build her a family tree of ownership.

Daisy came over the sea from Ireland, her previous carer @MisterMarty would rather spend his time in the fantasy world of comics and super hero's. He had no time for Daisy who lived on her **** in a room with no light bulbs. He lamented of forming a bond with Daisy but a lass it came to nought and she was sent on her way.

@MisterMarty took Daisy under his wing from a simple Potato farmer who having left Irish shores for the sound of sheep filled hills he could find no space for her in his new venture. Daisy was waved off by @Heighway Pinball as Andy went off at full throttle on his motorbike in search of Aliens and pinball world domination.

Now here Daisy's history is slightly shaky as I'm sure @Heighway Pinball had many young girls pass through his hands and Daisy could of been the one sold to him by that Liverpool, Man City, (insert team of choice) hating football supporter @mufcmufc. Now Nick being a stormy kind of chap didn't even clap eyes on poor Daisy having just sold her on, un loved to fund the lifestyle of another pin.

So can you help with the story, Did you ever own a Blackwater 100? Did you sell Mr Marshall it thinking he was going to lovingly restore her? Did you leaver her in a damp and dingy corner allowing all that rust to build up?

Please help by posting your leads and maybe we can trace her heritage back to the glorious days when she was NIB.

Dear Mr Moose,

I have a tale, a tale of woe. I purchased Daisy (although she was called Norma back then) in the winter months of 2011, January to be more precise. Norma was a booting gal but she had "issues" with her coils (which is never good for a girl) not working. I purchased her unseen in Ireland and she was meant to make her way across to me by accompanying your friend and mine on one of his many trips.

Although she was meant to arrive on many occasions, she often had an excuse for not making the journey across the water, "not enough space" was one, "not enough time" another. Then I fobbed her off by telling her I didn't have the space for her. This to-ing and fro-ing went on for a year until eventually someone else took a shine to Norma and I was asked by @Heighway Pinball if I did want to go to all the trouble and effort with such a nuisance of a gal or did I just want rid of her?

I was assured that she would be well cared for, although to be honest I didn't care - I hadn't even seen a recent picture of her on her dating page so I had no idea what she looked like. Based on todays picture, I had a lucky escape. If we ever meet, introduce me as Nick Fury, that way she'll think (rightly) that @TYHO is "The Storm" and take out any abuse on him

Mr Fury, A lovely tale that has filled in a few gaps. I guess we need Andy to tell us some more. Trouble with coils :hmm: I hope not, and please don't be any batteries still on board!
Just been around to the welsh storm in a tea cup, he's helped me out  so I can't abuse him too much.

I have Dora, Daisy's sister that also came from across the seas. Space was also an issue for me but I persevered and got her up on her legs, noticed coil wires off which were soldered back on and a new diode. Trough connecter was a problem too but she finally fired up ok. Started the game and within 7 seconds the coils all stopped when a fuse blew. Grossly disappointed and now she sits waiting for my repairman to come back and have a look after a replacement fuse did the same thing.

Sorry to hear your sad tale. Did you check the coil before soldering the wires back on...? If you de-solder them and replace the fuse does the game power up?
