OK we all like to drool over pics of fantastic, lovely condition machines .... maybe with mods, extra lights, toys etc ...but what about the other side of the coin ?

Feel free to add any pics to this thread of the real horror shows you may have come across or owned. I just found some old pics of machines I have had and thought I'd share these.

The filthier, dirtier and more f*cked up the better

Did you manage to get a polish on the turd or did you capitulate? to be fair when you see a machine with that much wear and dust it means a couple of things (previous owner/s did not give a monkeys for starters) but it also illustrates how much this machine was played which basically means the WH2O rocks.

Looks like one that Jamie B would gladly put out on site. That it as long as the coin mec was working.

Will have a look through some of my pic's, I have some horror storys in there somewhere.

Well - with some hard work, a few new plastics and targets it cleaned up nice. I love these sort of projects

Unfortunately despite all the dirt a lot of the inserts were quite worn, sometimes that can protect them, but hey ....it ended up a nice player. I kept for a while, had a lot of fun ...think I sold it on at the UK Show of 2006 or 7. It came from on site in Europe (via Pins Anon) and I think had basically never been cleaned in its entire history, which is the only way any pin ends up looking like that.

All done !

Both Spirit and Golden Eye were in that sort of state (or worse) when I got them...! they also required their MPU's to be repaired to defeat acid damage.

One of the Stargate's, many people may remember from the Monster meet, where it was hiding under some newspaper. It had no backglass, no playfield glass, no lockbar, no rope light (in back box), no important playfield plastic, no apron, no coin door, no kicking target and no motor for the toy glider to work...!

Bought this FH above for £250 in South Wales when the London bomb went off - scary hearing all about it on the way down(remember phoning the dude to see that he was ok).

Translight was missing too

This thread should have that Crimewatch program end comfort speech on it,

"Pins like this are rare so don't have nightmares and do sleep well"

Fair play that looks incredible compared to when you started, bet you had that pneumoconosis that miners get after that project

A couple of mine, I probably have loads more but it's a bit late to be digging through them all now!

Got a few never worked in donkeys years pins going over the years - always a good buzz doing that.

Notable ones are two Zaccaria Soccer Kings, the infamous Volcano at PinsAnon(well it was playable after about 12hours work, but have recently bought it ) ,another Volcano, and my HHouse.

Don't count but the Genie wasn't mint but then converted it to the Ramones:)
