Just to be clear. That was the before shot. Fitted a complete new mechanism. This one actually worked. The other three didn’t.

Most operators just want a game to keep going earning them cash. Which is what they are manufactured to do.
Some owners who have never owned a pinball before usually get an 'electrician friend' to attempt a repair. This consists of poking the power driver boards transistors in the hope it self fixes, and linking out all sorts of things on the playfield like this photo.

Strangely the General Illumination wasn’t working despite this repair.
