Hey all!
Had an amazing time at Pinfest this year - a weekend packed with truly amazing machines and even more amazing people. A hearty and personal thank you to every single person that made the event what it was.
Except for one small thing.
Finally managed to start sorting through some of the gopro footage I took over the weekend and was surprised to find some cheeky chappy had gone deliberately out of their way to sabotage some of my cameras! It seems like they were waiting for me to set them up in the main hall and then came and turned them around to face the wall so the footage would be useless!
I've gotta be honest, I'm a bit shocked and upset for a couple of reasons. For one, it sets an awful prescient for people's personal property; not something I expected at a show where historically people have gone out of their way to be respectful and look after other people's stuff. For a second, I was trying to do something nice by creating a memento for the people that have been working these shows and been involved in the scene for decades; to have that deliberately ruined by one person and for no good reason just makes me sad.
I don't recognise him, so I was hoping someone could help me identify the culprit? Have tried asking a few people privately, but no one seems to be sure. One person suggested he might be called Colin? If anyone could advise that'd be really helpful, if only so I know who to avoid next year.
Hope everyone has an amazing year, and can't wait to see you all again
